A triple dose of Nick Clegg in the media (updated)

Written by The Voice on 22nd December 2007 – 11:41 am

Let’s hope Nick Clegg got all his Christmas shopping finished before he was elected leader, because he looks just a mite busy getting lots of media coverage at the moment.

This morning, he was on Radio 4′ s Today in the coveted 8:10am slot (listen again here for up to seven days or read about it here), whilst The Voice hears that there are interviews set to appear in the Sunday Times (on … Sunday) and then Monday’s Daily Telegraph.

UPDATE: Make that a quadruple dose: he is also in the news over the latest Al Yamamah revelations.

A really good piece in today’s Times by Matthew Parris on Nick too - praising his gut honesty.

Plus there’s a nice little piece by Patrick Wintour in the Guardian on how Nick could become PM:

  2. Amineh abu-zayyad Says:

Wish you Nick all the best.
Merry Christmas & wonderfull successfull happy 2008

  3. James Says:

Clawing back our lost ground might take the best part of the next year - just be patient folks! Let hope he’s got a couple of big donors lined up as well!

  4. Tam Langley Says:

Nick sounds really passionate about investing in children to unlock their potential. We need more of this: looking to the future and setting out an inspirational vision. The issue is right I think, but it has to be sufficiently distinctive to stick in voters minds. This is going to be a challenging few months…

  5. Neale Says:

No WAY! on the big donors James. That’s not what we’re about. We want lots of little donors and reform of the party funding system.
