…nope, not Nick Clegg, but Steve Comer who got the closest in our Leadership Contest Competition only being out by 0.7% of the vote share for Clegg and Huhne and only 0.6% out on the turnout. He will be shortly sent an exclusive LibDemVoice mug in the post. A special mention goes to Alex who was short on the turnout by only 0.1%, and commiserations to Charles Anglin who was actually the closest, but failed to provide a valid email address as required in the rules.

Well done Ryan for organising all this – looking at all the numbers my mind was boggling as to how you would work out the winner – so I you did a good statistical job there!
So one of the people who predicted that Chris Huhne would win was closest to the truth! Ironic.

That’s an easy recount as we only need count up to zero (number of email addresses!) 🙂
Well I think it’s because people were expecting a very very narrow Huhne win, not a narrow Clegg win, so it’s the people who predicted a Huhne win that got closest.
I’m just so glad I was wrong.
May I be the first to start the Justice for Anglin campaign. This is the worse administrative decision since Steve Webb had his facebook account cancelled for not being a real person… shame… shame…
