Clegg “deleted”

Chaos nearly occurred to the BBC News schedules on Radio 4 when an 8 minute interview with Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg went missing at short notice.

Without it, political balance would mean that the World at One would not have been able to broadcast similar interviews with other party leaders, resulting in a knock-on effect throughout the Christmas news schedule.

Shaun Ley has the rest of the story.

If it is true; given the post at 7.12pm, and it makes it about a one day to one and a half days for people to respond to the YouGov questionnaire.

That’s not normal for them and all sounds bit odd to me.

This sounds so way off the wall as to be laughable. If true it just goes to show how desparate the Muroch Press is to see our destruction.

I’ve removed a hoax comment, and a couple of – to their credit, rather sceptical! – responses to it, about supposed opinion poll figures (which claimed to be from a Liberal Democrat MP, but wasn’t).

Is this part of the Vince Cable plot to join the Gordon Brown government as Chancellor, and have Ming the Mighty as Speaker?

“Delete” Clegg indeed. By Lembit the Cyberman, presumably…

Why couldn’t they delete the Great Pretender instead?
