Conference catchup

Written by Alex Foster on 22nd September 2008 – 10:35 am

We wrote some 80 posts covering conference last week - if for some reason you missed some of them, here’s a handy cut-out-and-keep reference to the best of blogging at LDV.

Before conference even began we had a major debate, with hundreds of comments, about Making it Happen

Whilst at conference, Stephen Tall liveblogged the Make it Happen debate - and well over 100 of you joined in from home and/or the conference floor.  Ultimately, it ended up a very good debate.
We covered other key debates:
Outside the Conference centre, we also had fringe event reports
Multimedia news now: I brought you a roundup of our audio coverage of conference, including vox pops and Q&A sessions verbatim here.  In addition, there were videos of Jenny Willott, David Laws and Tavish Scott, Susan Kramer and Nick Clegg, Norman Lamb, Chris Huhne, and finally Vince “Twinkle Toes” Cable and Simon Hughes. Not to mention a sneak preview of our party political broadcast.
And finally, the Leader’s Speech

There, an entire conference posting with not one mention of hashtag taxonomy.

Lib Dem Voice now has a LastFM page. That’s what you get for podcasting.

Had to write my own ID tags though. Perhaps you could add ID tags to them before releasing them

Ooh, that’s interesting, I wonder if we can work with Facebook with that?

ID tags have been on all my previous posts. This time, technology got in the way - for various reasons, I was using Linux machines I’m not very familiar with and my normal routines were mucked up a bit.

There is a LastFM application for Facebook but it seems to have stopped working properly
