Conservative Party chair in new expenses row

Via News of the World:

TOP Tory Caroline Spelman—already under investigation for paying her nanny from public funds—was last night embroiled in a NEW £100,000 cash row.

For the Conservative Party chairman used taxpayers’ cash to pay her top aide, DESPITE him undertaking party political work.

    It just goes to show just how contemptuous your typical Tory is of spending public money.

    As a party, they cannot resist their Friedmanite agenda (think Thatcherite, but on a global scale), which is not about delivering a quality of life for the masses, but instead of delivering previously public services into private hands for whopping profits at tax payer expense.

    When will we have a Tory party that actually does what it supposedly claims, and delivers the conditions for monopoly-free, innovative and rewarding entrepreneurship.

    Well.. I somehow doubt that Lord Ashcroft of Tax Haven, who seems to be funding a vast number of the campaigns in Tory target seats, is going to want to see his friends put in a position where they have real business competition!
