Well, judging by our performance this year compared to our performance in London, give me a call next time - I'm only 40 minutes away on the train! And I'm sure we have even more talented people than I. We were never going to win the election for Mayor so picking someone with good name recognition and a background in a 'real' job not politics was IMHO a smart move. The results don't relly reflect the campaign he led, more the effect of the anti Ken and anti Boris feeling meaning nearly everyone voted for one or the other of them. No mention of Paddicks name let alone a link to the Mayoral results.
