Ever wondered what Vince earned for HIGNFY?

If so, then the Parliamentary Register of Members’ Interests is a must-read – though in fact Vince Cable’s articles for the Mail are a much better earner:

CABLE, Dr. Vincent (Twickenham)
Remunerated employment, office, profession etc
Weekly column for Mail on Sunday. (£15,001-£20,000)
Fee from Hat Trick Productions for appearance on ‘Have I Got News for You’ on 30 October 2008. (Up to £5,000) (Registered 22 January 2009)
Contract with Atlantic Books for a book on the state of the economy.

Hat-tip: Recess Monkey.

I saw that. “Up to” covers a range of 5000. Just as “Less than” in another context covered a range of 30.

Meanwhile, Vince’s book for Atlantic Books is available to pre-order here.

Andy, for shame! Vince’s book must obviously be ordered through this link so that the party gets paid for the click-through.

@Andy, the bit at the end of the URL tag=theliberaldemocr tells Google that the LibDems sent you and for them to share a cut of the sale.
