If that's right how did the perspicacious Mr Benn know that the money was in fact coming from Mr Abrahams. And if Hilary Benn knew, why didn't Harriet Harman? "Where a person acts as an agent" they have to tell the party. The party does not appear to have any reciprocal duty in law to check.
