		<description>How about differentiating between the ID document (the card), the National Identity Register, the rules about how and where we will have to present the card, the activity tracking database, and the trustworthiness or not of our civil servants and political masters? In other words, what exactly is it that you object to? And remember that the EC wants us to be issuing European Citizen Cards (usable as travel documents in Schengen countries) by 2010.</description>
