Lib Dems say it’s SNP or no-one for coalition partners

The Scottish Lib Dems have ruled out doing a deal with Labour to prop up a Labour executive in Scotland.

The Scottish LibDems should have a period sitting in opposition, regrouping and formulating ideas for the future.

The SNP should govern as a minority with support from the Greens and Margo MacDonald.

    I agree with RMC.

We should have no truck with the Nationialists and neither should we prop up Labour.

A rare opportunity to join a consensus…me too.

I still think there could be a deal with the SNP! There’s time for them to back down over independence. We’ve got far more in common with them and could achieve a much more progressive Government for Scotland than we did with Labour. And this time we should shout about our achievements more – we were generally quite useless at conveying our achievements to the wider UK audience during the period of the last executive in Scotland
