Berlusconi's party the Popolo della liberta, which itself is a combined list of candidates from Forza Italia, Alenzia Nazionale and others won 37.4% at the last election. They are in a coalition government with the Northern League. Berlusconi's coalition has a large majority in Parliament, but this is only due to the bonus system used that awards more seats to the party with the most votes. Lets get one thing straight, Italy did not overwhelmingly vote for Berlusconi. So in a way it serves them right! The French nearly did the same with Le Pen..and now with Sarkozy who's no B but still? You can hate the left all you want but when will people-the working class-realise that the right isn't FOR you?? Not everyone person wants to climb the ladder. Some people aspire to simply feed their families, go to the pub with mates and work every day that isn't fuelled with politics. Wealth of a nation humans are not! But heck, if people are too dumb to realise that, it's a shame but unfortunately we all live in the same world, pay taxes and therefore have a responsibility to those around us.
