Aside from anything else, Ken has been mayor for eight years, Boris is a TV celebrity and regular fixture in the tabloids whereas Brian was only selected in November and launched his campaign yesterday - name recognition alone means they will be polling better than him at this point. Only that not even the most ardent Labour or Tory voter could possibly look at real election results in London and take that figure seriously.
