Earlier? Usually CWO or COD to be sordid? Whole honours system is whack. And funding. But ... grown ups recognise that successful people are actually quite likely to be rich enough to donate and er successful enough to get honours or be useful to govt even. System is whack.

As a Scottish LibDem member I have become increasingly disillusioned since May by my party giving the impression of almost constant support for Labour.

With these current scandals the MSPs have led us up a path that will ensure we are damaged in the electoral explosion unless we start creating some equidistance between ourselves and Labour in the Scottosh Parliament.

We used to do well by taking a stance that was critical or supportive where needed between the other parties. Now we are just sounding like Labour's echo with no clear policies being promoted.

I felt I was in the minority 6 months ago but more and more fellow members are beginning to question the direction we are being taken in by the MSPs who seem tied in with Labour.

I reckon this may be the issue where pressure is brought to bear on the MSPs to get a grip. Our poll ratings in Scotland are ridiculously low compared to where we were in a General Election only two and half a years ago.

Equidistance must return.

How come this blog is willing to mention a story that your party's MSPs are not? Are the MSP group that determined to stay close buddies with the Labour MSPs even through a scandal?
