I don’t normally eat biscuits- since I moved out, I’ve avoided buying any even vaguely unhealthy food in a sort of two-pronged action to get fit & more importantly spend as little money as possible.

But I was visiting my brother at the weekend & took the opportunity to eat some malted milk. Let’s not forget them

Well, one’s choice of biscuit is a difficult and complex decision, taking into account a multitude of factors including personal status, the economic situation, the potential inference of one choice of biscuit over another, branding issues and so on.

And that’s even before we get to the ‘is the Jaffa Cake a cake or a biscuit’ schism.

So it’s totally understandable that our Dear Leader should wish to consider his choice carefully before responding. I hear he’s commissioned a Public Inquiry to fully investigate his preference.
