Tories are the nasty party: verdict of ex-Welsh chairman

Sir Eric Howells, formerly Chairman of the Welsh Conservatives and expelled from the Conservatives in a candidate selection dispute, has written that:

The party chairman Theresa May, when addressing the party conference a few years ago, referred to the Conservative Party as the nasty party. My experience confirms that as a very true statement.

Can someone post a link to this.

I fear it might be appearing in one or two Focus leaflets.

In a Just William book William called the Nazis ‘Nasties’. Now the Conservatives have inherited the description.

In Cornwall one of our strongholds there have been a large number of Conservative internal feuds which have resulted in some powerful Tories also being kicked out of the Party.
The Ashley Crossley saga all but destroyed a sound working machine and has created an anti tory machine run by alienated Tories. In fact Conservatism is a dirty word and the PPCs already selected are finding it a nightmare to rally support- and that is without Liberal Democrat PPCs selected.
Yes the Conservative Party is a lousy, nasty and devious Party – ask the ex Cornish Conservatives.
