The Ashley Crossley saga all but destroyed a sound working machine and has created an anti tory machine run by alienated Tories. In fact Conservatism is a dirty word and the PPCs already selected are finding it a nightmare to rally support- and that is without Liberal Democrat PPCs selected. Yes the Conservative Party is a lousy,nasty and devious Party - ask the ex Cornish Conservatives.
