It strikes me that we need to keep an eye on the way Ashcroft is pouring money into target seats.Will a Cameron government be formed because of"cash for votes" ? £30,000, so they say, is going to most of the marginal constituencies. In each area we must make it clear that constituencies are "not for sale" -a negation of democracy and local choice. When that Tory phone call comes through why not ask "Who's paying for this call ?" - our response could be "Ah, Ashcroft money!" Keep an eye on the Tories! After all the LibDems called for tory action to ensure that this sort of thing never happened again!
