It really shows the shallowness of the 'liberatarian' - or "selfishness" as it should be called arguments that driving while drunk is considered OK unless you harm someone. And bizarre behaviour from the party to ever block him anyway. The only thing that worries me is that this seems to be a trip up on technacalities that the regional party were unable to handle, rather than an issue about why/how Gavin was suspended in the first place.
