    Nick is such a politician – just as evasive. He would not tell me if he was going to support me in the local elections either.

    Did you see the hatchet job he did on Ming for the BBC Ten O’Clock news last night? He’s 65 and hasn’t got a huge profile with Joe public. Must have taken ages to think about and investigate that one. Grrr… wouldn’t have happened in Marr’s day.
