YouTube hustings: Raising the Party’s profile

In the last of the five video questions put to Nick Clegg and Chris Huhne, the candidates were asked what they would do as Party Leader to raise the profile of the Liberal Democrats.

There are subtitled versions of all the candidates’ answers on the Liberal Democrats’ Overstream page.

(Previous questions: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.)

Chris’s answer much fuller and more specific – liked it.

YouTube hustings were definitely a great idea, were we the first UK party to do it?

All the questions chosen were asked by men. Did no women ask any questions? If so, what does it say about this medium? If not, are the organisers sure that all the best q’s came from men?
