8.6% of the vote in an area of Carmarthenshire where we didn’t stand last time, in a crowded field. Great result for newbie candidate Catherine Nakielny. There is a very impressive crowd of newbies in that area. I met some of them at Welsh conference in February.

Not the only win for us, we won the Suffolk one as well 🙂
Wot, only 3 gains this week ?
Political Betting.Com are claiming that we have made 18 net gains since May with Tories down 8 & Labour 3.
That’s the Tory majority gone on Suffolk County Council. They will probably now have to deal with UKIP to stay in power.
can any geek out there tell us when the last time we had 18 gains in a row with no losses ?
Why is the party failing to get this in the news?! If UKIP was winning won more than half of byelections, I bet we’d hear about that.
There was a feature about it on the Daily Politics just the other day.
Also a couple of town council gains best one at cocker mouth in Christchurch ward which we narrowly missed last night
I think we are doing as well as Manchester City.
On much less money.
