Is there a motion on the LibDem Conference Agenda you are just dying to amend? Something that’s too Orange Book, too Soggy Democrat or just plain too Lembit for you to support?
I’d like to know about it!
On Sunday 2nd March, two days before the deadline for amendments, Calderdale Liberal Democrats Policy Working Group will meet – with our voting reps and ordinary members in attendance to debate the motions and any proposed amendments.
If you would like us to consider your amendment to the York Conference Agenda, please email me. Provide the details of the proposed amendment (clearly stating which motion you are seeking to amend), along with any supporting statements you would like to include.
You’re even welcome to come along and give us your reasons and take questions in person.
One of the best things about our Party is that the ordinary members get to make policy and shape our manifesto. Calderdale Liberal Democrats Policy Group is our way of bringing in the most diverse range of opinions possible from across our local party.
Just put your proposed amendment in the relevant part of the members forum, or email it to me if you already have my email, and we’ll be happy to consider it.
Speak up, we’re waiting to hear from you!

Possible amendment to the Power to the People motion posted in Conference. I hope that is the correct place. Please let me know your thoughts and if your local party decide to propose it. I am not going to conference.
Thank you Michael. We have had quite a few suggestions for amendments to F14, which we will be discussing in depth.
Hi Alisdair,
I’ve proposed an ammendment to F15 Food Poverty in the members forum here http://forum.libdemvoice.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6509 – I wondered if its something you’d support
Thanks 🙂
