After a lengthy pause for a train journey home, a chance to edit the tapes very slightly, and the time taken to upload the file, Lib Dem Voice is very pleased to present a full recording of the proceedings on Saturday evening – including as an added bonus, a quick webinar from Lib Dem blogging expert Mary Reid.
Congratulations to winners Lynne Featherstone, Alix Mortimer, Jo Christie Smith and Betsan Powys.

Well done Mary you were great :@)
Thanks Jo! Great to meet you on Friday.
And Alex – thanks for such a comprehensive roundup.
You can also blog for free at wordpress.com which is what I use.
Thanks to all involved for a really interesting event, a great way to mark International Women’s Day, and congrats to all the winners and shortlistees, not least Islington’s own Meral.
It was great to meet other blogging sisters, and Mary, thank you for the presentation. A really good event, and congrats to all who won. I hope we managed to encourage more women to blog.
Bridget said what I meant to say at the event itself—damn my attack of nerves.
Yes, blogger is free, but so is WordPress, and comparing the two is like a battered old skoda with a paint job compared to a new built VW.
It is of course very pertinent to observe that the winner of the judges choice uses WordPress as well, and this site is powered by the installed version.
A good evening though, and both my local PPCs were there and want help setting up and getting started, so that’s good as well—more bloggers is good.
*kicks self for not writing that article on how-to-blog yet, despite promising it, oh, a year ago*
Loads of people are using Blogger, but frequently because that’s the only option they tried when starting, I’ve used it, I’m not going back…
Sorry I didn’t mention WordPress, which I should have done.
And very perceptive comment on handbags, Alex.
