The video starts off with talking about the establishment of the NHS with images from the Second World War and that of Hitler.

Hannan calls the NHS a remnant of a system from “war time planning”.

Rather weirdly, the fact that the train network has been privatised is part of Daniel Hannan’s argument about privatising health services. I mean, imagine what an NHS that performed like our rail network would be like…

Isn’t it a bit deliberate to use Nazi imagery, as many Americans have done, while talking about the NHS?
Its fucktarded thinking. The argument for the NHS, from a narrow economic perspective, is one of oranges for lemons in an insurance market. Nothing to do with other non-insurance based models like trains. Hannan is a very intelligent man but here he’s either being disingenuous or downright dumb.
Daniel Hannan is the obvious person to take the helm at “Liberal Vision” now mark Littlewood has moved on.
And what exactly is Daniel Hannans private sector experience ?
Just as appalling is where Daniel Hannan cannot make his mind up whether global warming is taking place or not;
