Fancy working for the Liberal Democrats #2

There are some very interesting jobs all over the country working for Liberal Democrats, either at party HQs or for parliamentarians. Here’s a quick selection – but be quick. Some have closing dates looming large.

Do you want to be the person who organises Nick Clegg’s visits? This involves a lot of travel, because you have to check venues out in advance as well as accompany him but in turn you get a great deal of job satisfaction as photographs of your work are everywhere. Closing date for this is 3 June – that’s a week on Monday.

There is a vacancy for an admin assistant in the Scottish Party’s Clifton Terrace HQ in Edinburgh. It’s an amazing city and you could not wish for better company in the office. Add to that, the pandas at Edinburgh Zoo are just a couple of miles away and you know ou are on to a winner. Don’t forget that in August, the city hosts the world famous festival, too. Closing date for that is 7 June.

The Welsh Liberal Democrats Policy Officer job is still open until 5th June. Some might say that the Doctor Who Experience being down the road from the office trumps the pandas, but I’m not so sure.

MPs seeking staff include Sarah Teather, Stephen Williams, Paul Burstow and Simon Wright.

And, finally, don’t forget the HQ Intern scheme. Applications close on June 10th.
