Many thanks to the A Capella Glee Club, the handful of conference delegates who hadn’t had enough singing at the actual Glee Club by 1am and continued for a further two hours into the early hours of the morning, long after the staff had cleared away the chairs and shooed us out. I always feel it’s not really Glee Club unless you’ve actually injured your vocal folds.
Here is the A Capella Glee Club (all 5ish of us) performing Glee Club classic “Losing Deposits”

OMG! I had no idea you were recording us … I’d have tried singing in tune if only I’d known. Well, no, on second thoughts, I think the red wine may have put a stop to that.
Am I the only one still with a sore throat today?
Nope… Me too. Very sneaky of Alex to record that – I thought it was odd that he was so keen to join us!
Oh dear! Well, you did all consent to recording at the time – I did ask, even if you’ve subsequently forgotten! I waved the recorder around before putting it on the chair between us. Actually, we paused for about 5 mins so I could fumble with the buttons and turn it on!
Although the tuning is not perfect, it’s still, ahem ahem, more tuneful than my recordings of yerakshual glee club
I was keen to join you because I like singing, but you managed to keep going long after my voice gave out totally.
Oh yes, I seem to remember that big pile of release forms you were lugging about with you 😉
I deny in the *strongest* terms any suggestion that I may have stopped singing at any point between 1am and 3am … 😉
This must have been before I joined in, I don’t remember singing that one – mind I dare say there’s quite a bit I don’t remember about last night now. Judging by the state of my throat I’m pretty certain I can’t have stopped singing either…
