Team 2013 is the brand being used by the Lib Dem campaign for this year’s local elections. A bright new website has been launched to encourage you to help the campaign, even if you don’t have elections to fight in your own area.

Tomorrow you can join in the National Phone Bank evening, making calls from your own home or local phone bank.  Nick Clegg will be handing out pizza to all volunteers who turn up at party HQ for the London Calling event.

There are further national actions days before polling day on 2nd May, plus ongoing phone banking. Nearly 100 local campaign events are listed on the website, so check them out if you prefer to help by delivering or canvassing on the doorstep rather than on the phone.

* Mary Reid is a contributing editor on Lib Dem Voice. She was a councillor in Kingston upon Thames, where she is still very active with the local party, and is the Hon President of Kingston Lib Dems.
