A week ago today, the all-new, revamped Lib Dem Voice Awards hit Glasgow. For those who were there, and those who couldn’t make it, here’s what happened…
* Stephen was Editor (and Co-Editor) of Liberal Democrat Voice from 2007 to 2015, and writes at The Collected Stephen Tall.

Heavens to Betsy, could you not have cropped that awful photo?:-)
I find Mr Rawnsley amusing, intelligent and well-informed. This, however, worries me more than slightly:

Especially as Mr Rawnsley appears to have no answer.
Modesty prevents Stephen mentioning his traditional and utterly hilarious introduction. He deserves special praise for his seamless self-censorship as he delivered his remarks in the unexpected company of the three Lib Dem leaders of the UK.
It was a great night. Well done to Caron for some sterling organisational efforts.
Actually, Stephen’s introduction should be posted in full because it was very funny.
That was the censored version of Stephen’s comments? I shudder to think what the uncensored version was like 🙂
I self-censored one. When I told it to Nick T he agreed I’d made the right choice… Tho it would have been interesting to see the party leaders’ faces if I had told it.
PS: thanks, fellow editors, for the comps. Not sure how the remarks would work written down, tho. It’s all in the performance…
