LDVideo – Nick, Nick and Nickers

Okay, I’ve bowed to popular opinion – the Hazel Blears-inspired title for our occasional video round-ups, YouTube ‘cos we want to, is no more. Instead you’re getting the drably named LDVideo. BUT just because you’ve made me drop my punning motif doesn’t mean the videos that follow are anything less than scintillating.

Earlier this week, Nick Clegg pitched up on Absolute Radio to be interviewed by Christian O’Connell – here’s a little bit of what happened:

And finally, for today, Make Votes Count’s ‘Gravy Train’ has been touring the constituencies of Labour MPs Ann Keen, Tony McNulty and Claire Ward – “some of the worst offending MPs, and those with the power to change things at Westminster”. See what happened here:

“Earlier this week, Nick Clegg pitched up on Absolute Radio to be interviewed by Christian O’Connell – here’s a little bit of what happened:”

He seems to have been on typical form:
O’Connell: “Did you drive it into the garage?”
Clegg: “I did. Er, actually, NO!”

  • As Herbert says – classic Clegg gaffe, though he is more relaxed in that studio than I have ever seen him at a town hall meeting, in an office or even at conference!
