I have always voted Lib Dem for my entire life and I am now a senior citizen and I feel it is about time that the Lib Dems have a good say in what happens in Britain. Now I would like to vote for a Lib Dem candidate, but unfortunately I cannot find out anything about the candidate for Witham, Essex where I live. I have looked on the net and it seems that there is a candidate called Margaret Phelps, but I have not see anything about her or received anything to say that she exists!!!!. I haev sent an email to the advertised email address, but no-one could even be bothered to answer me.
How do you expect people to vote for Lib Dems if you do nothing to let people know who they are?!!!!!!!!!!
I take it you’ve tried http://braintreeandwithamlibdems.org.uk/contact/
I agree with Ms Sullivan. Lib Dems are the only party who have not put a leaflet through my door. I have looked at e site referenced above & also http://www.libdems.org.uk/parliamentary_candidates_detail.aspx?name=Margaret_Phelps&pPK=38761437-b7bf-413d-8869-2482a62c2d56, and as far as I can tell our candidaate is a teacher, who cares about education, looks after a grandchild so his parents can work, and did not agree with the Iraq war. Hardly ground shaking. I want to vote Lib dem, but am distinctly uninspired.
