Happy Christmas on another year! To the LDV team and all readers.
The headmaster at my school, a Doctor of Divinity, said that Jesus definitely existed because his execution was was reported by a non-Christian Roman historian. Saying that Jesus is Christ is a further step, of religious belief.
In her Christmas message the Queen has tried to be a unifying figure, but, with so much diversity, this is difficult. Better, perhaps, to welcome diversity as Canadian Liberals do.
Try to imagine being homogenous in the USA.

I’ve tried imagining being homogenous in the USA. It scares me. Mind you, it has been tried before – the American Party (“Know-nothings”) in the 1850s; Senator McCarthy (the Wisconsin one, not the Minnesota one) in the 1950s. Hmm, what will it be in the 2050s?
