Nick Clegg on Sky News Ask the Leaders event today

AsktheleadersUpdate: After some confusion it seems that Nick will now be appearing later. David Cameron has also agreed to appear later today.

Sky News is running an Ask the Leaders event today, with young people asking the questions. The Q&A sessions with each leader (Miliband, Clegg and Bennett, but not Cameron, it seems) will be shown live on Sky News for 30 minutes followed by 15 minutes on Facebook. Nick Clegg’s turn comes at 12 noon.

You can watch live updates or get involved on #AskTheLeaders or on the Stand Up Be Counted page on Facebook.

  • On the same day that Sky runs its fantastic coverage of the last hours before the Transfer deadline.

I am looking forward to seeing Harry Redknapp by the entrance to the training ground, leaning out of the window of his Range Rover to explain why he is not going to sign any of these boys for QPR.

    Hahaha!

  • Social media response seems to be that Clegg came across as ‘whiney’, hectoring, aggressive.

  • Just watched the “best bits” on Sky. Don’t know if they have had a poll about who came out best, but for me it was.

    1. Miliband
    2. Cameron
    3. Bennet
    4. Clegg

Surprised, I honestly though both the LibDems and the Greens would do well with a young audience. For me it was close between Miliband and Cameron who both did well. Perhaps too much has been made of the smaller parties and when it comes down to it the choice is still just between the Tories and Labour.
