WATCH: Vince Cable talking about the Brexit Bill and how it undermines Parliament

Here’s Vince talking on the Daily Politics the other day about Theresa May’s offer to EU nationals, trade and how the EU Withdrawal Bill in its current form undermines democracy.

He emphasised that the British Government is in a very weak negotiating position with the EU.

Shirley Williams on A life in politics

The Daily Politics has been running a series of interviews with political figures in their A Life in Politics series.

This week it was Shirley Williams talking about her varied career and personal life. Look back not he formation of the SDP, her passion for education reform and the prospects for the Liberal Democrats in the election, saying “we’re bound to be a main factor in another coalition.” Oh, and don’t call her indecisive.

Birtwistle in burger-off

BurgersBurgers have been in the news too much in the last week. And having had to pay £15 for one in a Hilton Hotel this weekend, you better believe they are not my favourite food at the moment.

Yesterday’s Daily Politics, in an attempt to keep the story going for a bit longer, had a trio of MPs taste test 3 burgers and pick which one was the best. The MPs were our Gordon Birtwistle, Labour’s Ian Murray and the legend that is Conservative Peter Bone. Have a look here
