Can we stop referring to it as a “gay” blood donation ban? It’s not about gay people, it’s about men who sleep with men – whether they’re gay, bi, straight or anything else. It’s flawed and wrong, but so is ignoring the fact that not all men who sleep with men are gay.
And it’s not even just about men – women who sleep with MSMs are also affected!
