In Richmond, it’s Conservative councillor and London Assembly member Tory Arbour who has been suspended for disclosing confidential information, whilst in Brent it is Conservative Mayor Bertha Joseph for misusing charitable donations by spending them on clothes for herself. Oops.

Presumably the ex-council officer put in the complain to clear his own name as he had shown the document to TA ‘in confidence’ as he thought.
How we came to turn down the chance to buy the playing field for £1 in the first place I do not know – but perhaps now the truth will come out at last. What has appeared so far makes us look pretty stupid. Most people in Richmond will think Arbour has been vindictively punished for doing a service to the public.
