‘Tis the season for lists… All this week we’ve published the top 100 posts by Lib Dem bloggers, in descending order of popularity, for the last year – August 2007 to July 2008, inclusive, according to click-throughs from the Aggregator.
(Profuse thanks to techno-wizard and stat-monkey Ryan Cullen, who runs the Aggregator, for compiling this table.)

Nothing like an April Fools to get you in the top three.
Sour grapes all round – didn’t make it into the top 100 at all!
But it would be interesting to know how many clickthroughs were needed. Think I’ll have to route all my visitors through Lib Dem blogs…..
Rule number one of blogging:
1. Blogging doesn’t follow any rules.
Well done everyone! Keep on being thought-provoking and rule-eschewing. btw do we get a little Ton badge, a la Golden Dozen? ;o)
1. Blogging doesn’t follow any rules. >> what rules ?
I am staggered that blogs as poor as those turned out by Norfolk Blogger have made it so high. I have read so many fine blogs but his are not there. His work is really poor.
Jay: we can all think of awesome posts over the last year that haven’t made it into this list, but then nobody said it was a compilation of the very best posts, just the ones with the most click-throughs from the aggregator. Basically the results will be skewed all over the place according to who posted at the optimal time of day/year to have people sitting in front of the libdemblogs page, who had attention grabbing titles, and so on. It’s just a bit of fun.
Speaking of which: am I to assume that the Golden Ton replaces this week’s Golden Dozen? It’s been ten days and no popularity contest hit 🙁
Steph – Thanks for the info.
Steph – sometimes it’s late – apparently volunteers have lives but what can be more important than the Golden Dozen?
:@)
Oh not the fella with the ties again. Stop it, you’ll only encourage him more and he’s bad enough now. It’s the 2nd time this week he’s topped a blog list, he’ll be unbearable for days!
He does make the occasional decent post though, and he even has some decent ties.
Well done Peter
