It’s an interesting list. Who’d have thought we’d top our own poll?

I had started a spreadsheet too..
Using exactly the same criteria.
My interest was to compare for myself those who get hits and those who win awards. Of course the real stars get both!
It is a bit like the campaigner v policy wonk comparisons made pre web. Also of course bloggers get “home” hits from those interested in liberal theory and “away” hits by those not. I find the comparison interesting in it’s contrasts with paper communcation.
Interesting, James doesn’t factor in those who appeared in the ‘interesting’ five, those whose pieces are deemed to be worthy of a wider audience for whatever reason.
It might be interesting to see how these compare. James, over to you…

Where do they get that from?
Meral – I don’t think it is being an anorak to try and assess the impact of different issues and presentation of them on readership, especially if you work in my field…
Mark – but they are subjective, and I think the Lib Dem blogger of the year is the best way to score them. The click through counter is good raw data of the sort I like 🙂
