Er, don’t think we should get too excited about a Town Council gain on an under-20% turnout.
Good result in Horsham though.
I never get excited about council by elections per se, but let’s not forget that Chippenham is one of the Tories’ top target seats and one they must win if they are to get a toehold of power after the next general election. The fact that they flunked it, during their best fortnight in years, ought to be setting off alarm bells.
