We prefer whites and we’re not very good – Tory verdict on themselves

Colin Ross has highlighed a rather “frank” comment from the former chair of Wolverhampton SW Tories on his colleagues, calling Tory councillors “far from outstanding” and saying that many Tories prefer white candidates.

  • Is there so little Lib Dem news that you have to resort to Tory-bashing in every single post? SOMETHING interesting must be going on in the party, surely?!

  • Would have been better timed that comment if the three previous posts hadn’t mentioned the Tories, you know … !

It is their Conference week, so the Tories are topical for once.

  • Colin Sweetie,

You are using the torch logo on this story when you should have moved over to the squiggly tree.

It sounds as it some Wolverhampton tories will be using the tree for lynchin’s when they are wearing their hoods, so it is important to get it right…..

  • In your defence Colin, they will also be carrying flaming torches……

  • “..many Tories prefer white candidates.”
I’ll let you into a not very well kept secret.
Many LibDems prefer white candidates. So do many Labour voters (and where they’re not getting them they’re not voting or voting elsewhere).
It may not be politically correct.
    It may be regrettable.
    It may be unfortunate.
    It is however a fact.
