I don’t get that one- was it snobbery?
I’ve read one item from that list.
A Painted House by John Grisham is an excellent choice.
I was given it as a Christmas present a couple of years ago and it is one of the books I couldn’t put down once I’d started it.
An extremely well written and moving story that any liberal will identify with.
It is of course possible they all picked things with at least half an eye on getting other people to buy them and generate us some commission 🙂
