Terrorists target Alan Sugar – or freelance journalist goes undercover and winds up polite letter-writers?

The Sun – Tabloid Lies blog has a demolition of The Sun’s story that Alan Sugar is being threatened by terrorists:

The Sun today has an exclusive: TERROR TARGET SUGAR their front page shrieks, with EXTREMIST THREAT TO UK JEWS in a banner above it…

However, all is not as it seems for not only is this story seemingly based on an appeal for addresses actually so that a “polite” letter-writing campaign could be run, but also the moderator of the board where the appeal appeared said:

I can confirm that the User “AbuIslam” who was posing as a Muslim on this forum is infact a freelance Journalist by the name of “Richard Tims” who registered on this forum to twist what the original Intent of this thread was for and to make Muslims look bad. Whether he works for the sun or not i dont know.

Note that The Sun headlined this ‘story’ about Sugar being a target above the bombing of the building with 30 civilians, which occurred on the same day as Jenvey’s machinations. The bombing was relegated to page 5, below the continuation of the Sugar story from page 1. (I read it at the barbers…!)
