@Mick Taylor, you are right to focus on strategy since we have plenty of policy, but i think we also need a vision and better messaging. It is easy to have stro...

Depends whether the residents of Sussex enjoyed the 80s. This might be more catastrophic up north.
In Shields Road in Newcastle East there is a large self-funded “Nick Brown – vote Labour on May 6th” billboard, right next to another one proclaiming in large letters “Start up the Barbecue!”. Pic to follow….
Amused one of my lecturers no end!
Those big Tory rural boards are risky. I saw one in a field in East Hants the other day – ‘Vote for Change’ it said (with three sheep snoozing underneath it).
When I stood in the 2005 GE I had a photo opportunity on the Wecock Estate in Hampshire – no prizes for guessing that in the resulting picture only the last five letters of ‘Wecock’ were displayed prominently behind my shoulder!
Get with the program! Did you not learn from The Ashes to Ashes posters, the 80’s affiliation is a positive not a negative!
Maybe it’s just me, but I always laugh at the oxymoronic nature of the ‘Vote for Change – Vote Conservative’ slogan
Not as bad as this.
