This is what popped into my inbox at 13:34 this afternoon:
72 hours? That’s Friday! A bit late for those few Labour voters who remain to get to the polls.
There is an element of there but for the grace of god go I in this. That email was most likely sent out by some exhausted staffer who hasn’t slept since about Friday. One thing that political activists understand is quite how much an election takes out of you, so this is posted with a certain amount of empathy.

@Caron further proof as if we needed any that Labour struggle with basic maths.
Except it could just mean that the leaflets were delivered late.
It was an email, Glenn.
Strange isn’t it that for all the SNP’s fury and fervor – this could be the first government with no Scots! Which I guess would be a victory of sorts for the SNP & Murdoch!
“Email sent out a day late shocker!”
An article worthy of The Sun. I hope you are proud.
(whilst I recognise your empathy, the headline would have been better if you’d made reference to it there!)
It was cunningly targeted and telling YOU that you would be going to vote in 72 hours. Meanwhile the one to Labour voters told them 48 🙂
Richard: “An article worthy of The Sun”.
I don’t think you realise how low the bar for that criteria has fallen recently. This is no way awful enough to be a Sun story.
