I had News 24 on for the BAFTAs so think I caught this but couldn’t stay for its entirety – I hate Andrew Neil – features especially bland questionning such as ‘why did you decide to become a candidate?’

I caught it at 9:30 (well 10 mins in)
It seemed ok but was it intended to only be about Policing?
I watched it last night, and he was OK, though he really wasn’t all that convincing on the issue of what would actually be done to reduce crime in London unfortunately.
Good performance, persuasive, convincing.
Though I pick up from the point made at (2), has he had some odd media training? There was a very curious unnatural smile thing going on at the start! Still, he seemed to relax in to ‘normal’ Brian Paddick (or the Brian Paddick I’m used to seeing on the telly) quickly enough…
