This is a new seat, partly created out of Steve Webb’s Northavon constituency, which could be a Liberal Democrat gain at the next general election. So it is of particular interest to note that the Tory prospective candidate has failed to get elected to the council – in a three member ward where the Tories won two seats this year, he failed to win the third. Not exactly a personal endorsement!

what are the parties going to do about LOST postal votes? We were properly registered, South Glos say papers went out 26 April but no vote ever arrived. Royal Mail say it’s South Glos responisbility and they say the reverse.
Working at a polling station in another ward my husband and I were disenfranchised and no one appears to care or accept their failure in this process.
