Hannah Thompson interviewed on Sky News about revenge porn

Sky News covered the issue of revenge porn. One of the most prominent campaigners for a change in the law is our own Hannah Thompson.  At 7:17 this morning, she found herself sitting on the sofa talking to Eamonn Holmes about her experience. Her advice to anyone else who had been abused in this way? To realise it’s not their fault.

She talked about how the whole experience had affected her self-confidence and how she had kept what had happened to herself for  6 months until she had the confidence to speak out.

Watch the whole thing here. We would embed the video if it were possible to do so.

  • Well done to Hannah for having the courage to speak out.

Society needs to stop blaming the victim when in comes to this sort of thing.
