Happy 42nd birthday, Nick!

Three weeks after celebrating his first anniversary as Lib Dem leader, Nick Clegg today celebrates his 42nd birthday. The Times notes the occasion thus:

Nick Clegg has been the leader of the Liberal Democrats for more than a year. Recent speculation about a possible hung Parliament after the next election has brought him increased attention. Always ready with a soundbite, he described the Conservative tax plans as “fake giveaways” and says in his new year message that he believes a green investment programme will put the economy back on track. He and his wife Miriam are expecting their third child next month. A former MEP, political columnist and part-time lecturer at Sheffield University, Nicholas Clegg is 42 today.
