After all, it’s hard to take this post seriously.
His “rebuttal” to Ming Campbell saying “I am shocked that the Labour and Conservative front benches in the Commons have joined forces to vote for a special exemption for MPs from the Freedom of Information Act” is to say, “If you look at the 24 Conservatives who disgracefully voted for the Bill on Friday, only 9 hold front bench positions.”
Crikey, what a rebuttal hey?

By the way, what’s Nick Harvey’s view of this Bill?
Ah Iain Dale….. We all know why he has a thing about the Lib Dems (crushed by a Lamb in North Norfolk).
So take that pinch of salt, toss it over your shoulder, and hope it catches him in the eyes.
You might wish to see the comments of Nick Harvey, Lib Dem Defence spokesman,
close to Ming, on this FOI Amendment Bill. Look in Hansard, Public Bill Committee proceedings for 7 Feb. Nick Harvey supported the Bill in Committee.
So the Lib Dems also have at least one bill supporter in their ranks as well.
“there might be one Lib Dem MP rebel” is not really much of a defence to “the position of both Labour and the Tories is in favour of the bill”.
Why did’nt Ming turn up to vote against it ? Nick Harvey supported it in Committee ?
Poor Nick never knows how the wind is blowing in North Devon?
Ming is ming, amnesia has set in ?
Hmmm.. Let’s see what Conservative Frontbench Spokesman, John Bellingham, said about this shortly before voting in favour of the bill as it stands….
Campbell lied. That is a straight fact, so what is wrong with Iain Dale pointing it out? Do you suggest that Campbell was right to lie, and if so why?
Iain: here’s the answer to your question: https://www.libdemvoice.org/opinion-so-just-how-strongly-did-the-lib-dems-oppose-the-freedom-of-information-amendment-bill-827.html#comment-15479
