Help make The Voice even bigger and better in 2009

2008 has been a tremendously successful year for Liberal Democrat Voice, with more readers, more content and more comments than ever. But we want to be even bigger and better in 2009.

You’ll have seen some of our plans already, including the introduction of new regular features such as James Graham’s weekly Lib Dig Pig round-ups (covering the best of the internet beyond the Liberal Democrat blogosphere).

We also want to expand our online advertising and our presence at party events so that we can reach out to that wider pool of people who are interested in the sorts of stories we cover, but who aren’t regularly frequenters of political blogs.

And that is where you, dear reader, come in. None of the team, nor any of our contributors, gets paid and the advertising revenue from the site just about covers our hosting costs. But to run our own advertising elsewhere and to have presences at party events, along with other publicity drives, runs up expenses. So we can do more of these in the future, please make a donation now.

Boring legal bit: Liberal Democrat Voice counts as a members’ association as all of the team are members of the Liberal Democrats. Therefore any donations we receive have to meet the same legal requirements as donations to a political party, and – if you’re very generous – they will get published by the Electoral Commission.
