The conference has only just started, but the party succeeds in shooting itself in the foot twice in one day.

According to Tim, the Lib Dems won the Mosborough by-election, not because the Lib Dems are the best people to run Sheffield (which they are), but because Momentum activists were telephone-canvassing for Jeremy Corbyn on polling-day.
